Day 2 – Excursion to Bumla Pass
After an early breakfast, set out for an unforgettable drive to Bumla Pass, one of the most beautiful and historically significant spots in India. The journey from Tawang passes through Madhuri Lake (Sangestar Tso) — a shimmering blue lake surrounded by snowy mountains and pine trees. After spending some peaceful time by the lake, continue your ascent to Bumla Pass, located at the Indo-China border.
Here, the Indian Army maintains a post, and travelers often get the chance to interact briefly with soldiers who protect this high-altitude frontier. The cold wind, the white expanse of snow, and the tricolor fluttering against the sky create an unforgettable scene. After spending some time soaking in the beauty and emotion of the place, return to Tawang by evening.

Day 3 – Tawang Sightseeing & Departure
After breakfast, explore a few nearby attractions before heading back. Visit the majestic Tawang Monastery, the largest in India, and the serene Urgelling Monastery, the birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama.
